Some of the language that they use might even be considered frowned upon in modern Christian circles. But shouldn't the word of God's example in the Psalms speak and perhaps even correct the way we pray in joy OR sorrow?   • 086: Racism and Paul

    Paul says something that to modern sensibilities might be considered prejudiced. "One of their very own prophets said, Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons. 13 This testimony is true. So, rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith."

    Our culture thinks such statements to be prejudiced and hateful. But is it true? As Sean and Patke dive into this topic, we would do well to ask if Paul was racist and how do such statements need to be understood and applied.
