The motivated mathematician named Rishabh Jain

Hope you're doing great.

I’m Rishabh Jain, working remotely as a Data and Applied Scientist at Microsoft for the past five years. My work focuses on building intelligent systems using AI, especially large language models — the technology that’s redefining how we communicate, work, and think.

I completed my Master’s in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee — one of the premier institutes in India for engineering and technological education. IITs are known globally for producing some of the top minds in tech and innovation, and being part of that ecosystem has shaped a big part of who I am today.

I live with a progressive visual disability called Retinitis Pigmentosa, and I’ve been completely blind since the age of 16. But that hasn’t stopped me from exploring the world — quite literally. I love travelling and especially enjoy the calm of beaches and the vibrance of nature. Exploring different cultures across countries is something that deeply inspires me and brings me a sense of connection and learning.
