Dr. Bean is a high performance and leadership consultant, published, peer-reviewed author, and is recognized as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant by the Association for Applied Sport and Psychology.  Dr. Bean works with individuals and teams to strengthen their ability to lead others, maximize team functioning, perform at an elite level under high-pressure conditions, and maintain consistency despite changing circumstances.  He has worked with a wide range of performers, including professional athletes, Army Special Forces, Navy Seals, surgeons, emergency physicians, and business professionals. He has been engaged by professional sports organizations, the US armed forces, collegiate athletics, and various business organizations like the PGA, the Army, Navy, and Airforce, the University of Southern California, and UC San Diego Health.  Dr. Bean is based in San Diego, where he lives with his wife, two young sons, and two dogs.

Dr. Ed Garrett, PsyD, CMPC-AASP is an Associate Professor; Sport, Recreation and Fitness Management at California Baptist University. Dr. Garrett brings 30 years of athletic knowledge to his consulting. His focus is on the intrinsics of athletic performance and helping athletes play smarter, not harder. He spent time with the Colorado Rockies, 1996 Summer Olympics, and multiple years as a club, high school and college coach. Dr. Garrett specializes in increasing confidence through a variety of cognitive practices.
