I want to be clear, I am not rating the book. The book is a gem written by one of Japan’s greatest writers.

The narration is either AI (which I suspect) or narrated by some woman who has no passion nor skill at narration. It is quite bluntly put, one of the worst audiobooks I have ever heard!

As you can see, this audiobook is for free for those who are members of Audible.

HOWEVER, free or not, Audible should be ashamed of insulting this great book by having such a pathetic narration released under Audible.

If this is the future of audiobooks..,I’m out!

I cannot endorse this audiobook, but I do highly recommend the physical book.
