Through the challenges of his own life and divorce, he came to find his way to leading men with marital challenges in the way that works for men, and in this conversation we dig into what he has discovered along the way, why therapy doesn't work for men, and why men need to lead once more.

In episode #6 of the Wayshowers podcast, I speak with Ryan Albury, a coach, facilitator and provocateur in the world of men's work.

Ryan has a long history in Mankind Project Canada, and has done all their trainings, discovering over the years what works and what doesn't in the old paradigm of the work.

He sees the need to build a bridge between the "soft" and "hard" of masculinity, giving men the ability to move beyond an addiction to emotional expression, so that we can build the internal structure that is so vital for mature masculinity.

I found that Ryan shares a lot of my values, and expect this conversation will rattle the folks from the traditional men's work world quite a bit.
