Unpolished

I feel terrible saying it, but this was dead boring. I came here to listen to a discussion about the Vor series and ended up listening to a half baked biography of the narrator. If you had only not wasted your listeners time the lightly scrambled unpolished mess could have been more charming than annoying.

Rehearsal and Editing are a podcaster’s friends

I could not love Lois McMaster Bujold more if she were blood kin. I was looking forward to a discussion of her works.

But not this one.

I understand the Caster wanted the podcast to be spontaneous. But um this ah has um too ah many ver-verbal grunts and stammers. More annoying than most improv.

Not recommended.

not interesting

I respect the idea and was thrilled by it, but it's so poorly done that all the excitement washed away the first 15 minutes. Shallow take and unprepared as a whole.

Just No

Terrible, repetitive, badly written, thoughtless, clueless and worthless. Don't waste your time. Guy reading a passage about editing is ironic in the light of his totally unedited mess of a project.

mid

i stopped listening after the defense and (mild) praise of the porn industry for making vhs a household item. not only was it a huge non sequitur, it left a bad impression, like the guy was some kind of porn bro who says porn is empowering while ignoring the rampant themes of rape, racism, and child exploitation. and yes, pornagraphers engage in actual exploitation most of the time. yuck
