The film, which premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival, portrays three tempestuous days in the life of painter Amedeo Modigliani and the vibrant, chaotic Parisian art scene of the early 20th century.

    In this special episode of The Untitled Podcast, host Indira Cesarine is joined by a guest who truly embodies the spirit of the series: actress, author, artist, and revolutionary force Rosa—formerly known to the world as Rose McGowan.

    Before she became a lightning rod for cultural awakening, Rosa built a formidable career in Hollywood. She first broke onto the scene with fierce, genre-defining performances in The Doom Generation, Wes Craven’s Scream, Jawbreaker, and Devil in the Flesh, and later became a household name as Paige Matthews on the cult-hit series Charmed. Known for her magnetic screen presence and fearless approach to storytelling, Rosa cultivated a persona that radiated defiance and mystique—but rarely on her own terms.

    In 2018, with the release of her searing memoir BRAVE and her raw docuseries Citizen Rose, she emerged not just as a survivor of Hollywood abuse but as a catalyst for global reckoning. Named one of TIME Magazine’s “Silence Breakers” for her pivotal role in the #MeToo movement, Rosa reclaimed the narrative around power, trauma, and survival.

    In our in-depth conversation, she opens up about her extraordinary path—from growing up in a cult and navigating the misogyny of the entertainment industry, to walking away from fame and building a life of radical self-expression as a multidisciplinary artist living in Mexico.
