Great Story/Tragic Story

I think I recall reading about this awful event back when it happened. Not sure. Surely the 3 people on both sides of this story had the intelligence and life skills to know better than to keep pouring salt into each other's most sensitive wounds. Escalation of anger in situations like these almost never gets resolved. But then who ends up dead? I'd say ultimately, that in itself tells us who the worst culprit was. Like one of the defense lawyers' said: in situations like this, the only solution is for one of the parties to move. But in this situation, no one was going to blink first.
