Happy Faced Killed

I was a waitress at the Burns Brothers Truck in Troutdale, OR in the early to mid nineties (I believe it is a TA Truck Stop Now), however, Keith came in regularly.

He had murdered a prostitute at the Kreuger’s Truck Stop one exit away; but we of course did not know this until he was arrested.

As waitresses we were shocked to have been in the presence of a murderer so many times, even more disconcerting was that he would walk some waitresses to their cars so they’d remain “safe”

I was not one of those waitresses and if I had been asked I would have declined as I’d always felt a strange vibe upon seeing him; even though I’d never spoken to him.

However, we’d learned his murder spree was had more of a sick/twisted religious reasoning to it and that he’d found the action of prostitution to be a sin worthy of death.

It makes one wonder if he’s changing his story in order to remain “relevant” to the outside world.
