G.K. Chesterton once wrote, "There is a thought that stops thought. That is the only thought that ought to be stopped." We live in a very censorious age. The Sidewalk pub is my answer to that. It is, very simply, a place for men to get together and discuss big ideas and issues of the day. It is also a place to learn how to think and speak clearly and to disagree well. The Sidewalk Pub is an homage to the English gentlemen's societies that would gather at public houses to discuss the issues of the day. It is meant to be a sort of modern day Areopagus. Because of the strange times that we live in, the Sidewalk Pub takes place outside (hence the name) and therefore had a lot of extra noise . Furthermore, some of the voices (including my own) in the audio are pretty quiet. I hope it is not too hard to listen to on account of that.Copyright 2020 All rights reserved.
