The Seacoast Podcast: Things You Won't Hear On Sunday captures meaningful – and often challenging -- conversations that happen off the stage amongst the people of Seacoast. Hang with us and guests we love to learn from, including authors, artists, pastors, and many others who share their stories of struggle and oftentimes, how God's grace brought about peace and redemption. We hope listening in to our discussions revolving around church, theology, and culture will feel like slowing down and hanging with friends. You'll be encouraged, laugh, find solidarity with someone else's story, or see things from a new point of view. What if listening to other perspectives was the first step in loving people with a different point of view? We're giving it a shot.© 2026 The Seacoast Podcast: Things You Won't Hear On Sunday Cristianismo Espiritualidad Ministerio y Evangelismo

Artificial Intelligence isn’t going anywhere—and it may prove to be more transformative than any invention in human history. At the same time, the Church isn’t going anywhere either. Over the last century of rapid technological change, it has continually adapted and even expanded its ability to spread the gospel of love.

So, what happens when these two forces collide?

With AI now capable of processing and synthesizing information at a level far beyond any individual, this episode explores how it should—and should not—be used in ministry. Specifically, we dig into its role in Bible study, prayer, and biblical counsel.

On this episode, biblical scholar, Marc Turnage, joins the podcast to unpack this concept with Jack Hoey, Lynne Story, and Joey Svendsen. Marc focuses especially on the benefits of AI—particularly how it can deepen our understanding of Scripture, which is what his new app, Ask Ezra, has great potential for.

    Apr 7 2026

Do Christians have a responsibility to serve their neighbors? The verse Jeremiah 29:7 calls God’s people to seek the peace and prosperity of the city—to pray for it, to care about it, and to invest in it.

To live this out, Seacoast launched "Love Where You Live” in March to create intentionality around serving people in our communities. It isn’t a one-time event, but rather an initiative to create a culture around loving the people in the communities where God has placed us. Listeners will hear from Local Missions Pastor, Jen Cameron, and three Seacoasters who share their stories about how they’ve made "loving where they live" a lifestyle. With Jack Hoey, Lynne Stroy, Josh Walters, and Joey Svendsen, this episode dissects what serving can look like and explores why it's not really a choice for those who follow Jesus.

  • 193 - Quarrelsome Christians w/ Minor and Propaganda
    Mar 31 2026

Hip-hop artists, Derek Minor and Propaganda join host Joey Svendsen to share some life and career updates and chime in on a little bit of everything. The three process a thought that involves Jesus being asked to consume music with explicit lyrics. They also take a deep dive into why Christians fall into the trap of quarrels when passages like 2 Timothy 2:24-25 not only admonish otherwise, but also instruct Christians to be kind to everyone. The two guests talk about friendship, including the relationship they have with one another, and Joey asks their opinion on the infamous "Will Smith to Chris Rock" slap.
