  • How To Rest Pt 1: What Is Rest and How Do We Sabbath? feat. Pastor Kevin White
    Jun 2 2021

On the ninth episode of season two of The Sarah Show, Sarah talks with Youth Pastor Kevin White about the historical background of rest and its purpose in our lives.

Pastor Kevin has worked as a youth pastor at Cornerstone Christian Community Church for 14 years, and he has learned a lot about the necessary rhythms of both work and rest.

Pastor Kevin and Sarah dive into why God rested on the seventh day after creating the earth, and why He set an example we should follow.

They also dig into Jesus' time on earth, and how he said that the Sabbath wasn't supposed to be a bunch of rules but that true rest came in a close relationship with Him.

Pastor Kevin and Sarah share the different ways they "shabbat" (stop work) and "nuakh" (settle and be restfully present) during the week, and what that looks like practically.

This is the first part of the two-part series on rest —so stay subscribed and follow The Sarah Show to keep up with the series! You won't want to miss either episode.

    May 12 2021

On the eighth episode of season two of The Sarah Show, Sarah Chew goes solo in an educational and relatable show all about friendships.

Growing up, Sarah has had tons of experience gaining friends and losing them —so this episode breaks down what healthy friendships look like, as well as some signs of toxic friendships.
