On Sunday, February 15, the BLACK STARS BHM Art Exhibition opened to the public. A two-week event that runs through the final day of Black History Month (Sat, 2.28); BLACK STARS is a living historical archive of sleected works from 16 Black New York-based artists, housed at Make Manifest on Tompkins Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Robert and Gabrielle curated this event, and they discuss their inspirations and motivations for said event, as well as their accomplishments and overall journeys as multidisciplinary creatives.
