Somewhere along the way they stop at the Ark Encounter, which turns out to be… a little different than they expected. The conversation takes a turn into how the world seems increasingly intolerant of Christianity, and how believers are trying to live faithfully in a culture that doesn’t really want them to. It’s funny, honest, and a little heavier than a couch in a U-Haul. 00:00 Why does not one ever visit us? 03:24 Emily’s in her PJ’s 09:12 Do you lose your toothbrushes? 12:28 Jason wanted Emily to go thrifting… 19:43 Real measurements… 25:12 The couches… 34:52 The Ark Encounter 45:30 The world hates Christians in particular 47:46 Our house nearly catches on fire 48:58 Back to the world hating Christians 53:50 Panera Bread The Ark Encounter Video https://www.instagram.com/p/DQUVLGCkdbt/ Emily’s Pinterest Board https://tinyurl.com/mv2u8sbr Hang out with Emily at the Cultivate Homestead Retreat October 31st and November 1st: https://www.cultivatehomesteadretreat.com/buy-tickets Learn more about your ad choices. We first fell in love with Emily and Jason‘s Instagram channel, ReallyVeryCrunchy, and then Susan found out they did a podcast.
We put it on while we make dinner together as a family, are driving in the car, or do our chores around the house.
They inspire us to start a podcast of our own!

Fun, Interesting and Entertaining for the Family

While I'm not terribly crunchy and not a parent (parenting is frequently discussed) Emily and Jason have a great mix of thought provoking topics and humorous banter that I very much enjoy listening to.

A very enjoyable listen.

I'm currently listening to the Slow Living episode and just had to say that I must graciously and vehemently disagree with the Jason naysayers! I would 100% watch and listen to Emily on her own, but Jason definitely adds to it! Don't leave! You two are such a joy to listen to!🥰

KEEP JASON!

I enjoy their banter and the stories from their childhood. I love hearing Emily’s opinions on her own childhood. Hearing that even they have “noncrunchy” aspects of life really bring them down to earth compared to what the YouTube and social media videos show. Definitely worth a listen!

Look forward to new episodes every week!

I wanted a shirt but my husband said ,” You are not wearing a really very crunchy shirt “🤣so blame him ! if you’d make turkey calls or anything to do with turkey hunting he might be more on board!

Tshirts😂
