We continue looking at Starfleet's "Finest" as we highlight Admiral Kennelly in TNG's "Ensign Ro". The Enterprise is asked to track down Bajoran Terrorists, with the help of Ensign Ro Laren, brought out of prison by Admiral Kennelly to assist Captain Picard. What Picard doesn't know is that Admiral Kennelly has something else in mind, and Ro is just a pawn.

The next episode in our Spotlight Series episode brings us to TNG's "Too Short a Season", highlighting Admiral Mark Jameson.Admiral Mark Jameson, a man suffering from Iverson's Disease, is brought aboard the Enterprise to travel to Mordan IV to help negotiate the release of Federation hostages by local terrorists. Throughout the episode, Admiral Jameson begins to de-age. What ensues results is significant health issues that affect the Admiral along with some "skeletons" that are revealed. Is Admiral Jameson one of Starfleet's Finest? You decide!

We were honored and excited to sit down with actor Aaron Douglas! Aaron is an incredibly accomplished actor, with over 100 tv shows, movies and video games on his resume. He’s appeared in such movies and shows as X-Men 2, iRobot, Stargate SG-1, Falling Skies, The Strain, X-Files, Supernatural, The Flash, Once upon a time, and currently Murder in a small town, airing on Fox. He created and wrote comic books for AfterShock comics, with his writings appearing in the first two volumes of the Shock Anthology, culminating in his first full length graphic novel “10 years to death” which was released back in October of 2021. You may know him best as the man who kept the Admiral’s Vipers flying, Chief Galen Tyrol on Battlestar Galactica! We laughed so much our jaws hurt and we know you will LOVE Aaron as much as we do!

Our latest Spotlight Series episode brings us to TNG's "The Wounded", highlighting Captain Benjamin Maxwell. After being fired upon by a Cardassian ship, Captain Picard is told that a Cardassian outpost has allegedly been destroyed by a Federation ship, the USS Phoenix under the command of Captain Benjamin Maxwell. He is ordered to do everything necessary to keep the peace treaty with the Cardassians in tact. With the help of Miles Edward O'Brien, the Enterprise attempts to stop Captain Maxwell from going rogue, in an effort to avoid starting another war.

Our Spotlight Series brings us to TNG's "The Drumhead" and a focus on Admiral (retired) Norah Satie. When a potential security leak and sabotage is discovered on board the Enterprise, Starfleet brings Admiral Satie out of retirement to help with the investigation. What follows turns into a "witch hunt" of sorts as Admiral Satie turns the investigation into a trial of a crewman that Picard reminds her is innocent until proven guilty. Conspiracy and paranoia run rampant until Admiral Satie explodes. Is Admiral Satie one of Starfleet's Finest or Starfleet's worst? You decide!

We continue our new Spotlight Series "Starfleet's Finest?" by jumping into Star Trek The Next Generation. The season 7 episode "Pegasus" gives us one of, perhaps the most toxic Admirals we will meet in our series, Admiral Erik Pressman. Coverups, intimidation, withholding information, and violations of long standing treaties are just some of the issues Admiral Pressman brings with him to the Enterprise. We Riker's past and the weight of his decisions catch up to him, ultimately affecting how Captain Picard views his first officer. We continue our "Starfleet's Finest?" Spotlight Series with The Original Series episode "Court Martial". Our focus character for this episode is Commodore Stone who has the incredibly difficult task of being the Presiding Officer in the case of Captain Kirk versus the Enterprise's computer. Kirk's decision in the moment, which we are led to believe results in the death of a crewman, is picked a part in court due to the supposed overwhelming evidence from the computer showing the decision that he made. There's just one problem...Kirk is adamant that the computer is wrong. How does Commodore Stone handle the situation involving the Captain of the Starfleet's flagship? Is he able to stay objective in the face of uncertainty? We discuss all that and more!
