There are only 4 weeks left until the fantasy playoffs and this weekend we saw a massive shake up in the league standings. A couple of upset losses caused the heat to be turned up for several teams hoping to take home the title this year. Which, in all honesty, makes for some really great matchups and drives the emotional engagement for not just our own match-ups, but for those we are competing against. It’s a great time in fantasy football.

The hits keep coming from injuries, upsets, and bye weeks, but we’re conditioned fantasy managers. We’re built to weather these storms. This is when we dig deep and play those players that were lost deep on our benches, with names we’re unfamiliar with, but scored a touchdown last week. Because in our darkest hours we chase those points and hope whatever all-powerful-deity shines favour on us. Go get that win

It’s Canadian Thanksgiving this week and I would like to give thanks for good friends to play fantasy football with and for staying friends through all the wins & losses. Thank you for the fun times! Now, with 5 weeks of football come and gone, some of us are looking at the playoffs with excitement, some of us are looking at ways to get into the playoffs, and the rest of us are deciding if selling now to get a jump start on next year is out best course of action.
