This one was not great

This podcast sounded very interesting! Yes, absolutely tell me about lesser- known ancient civilizations! But... they never really did. The interviewer and the guest spent almost the first half of the podcast talking shop, and even after the guest's book was brought up, the civilizations in question were never really gotten into. I wanted to hear the nitty gritty about what we can know and how we can know it, regarding civilizations that haven't left written records, or been written about by others, but nothing substantial got discussed.
