    The Ohio State University abuse scandal centered on allegations of sexual abuse that occurred between 1978 and 1998, while Richard Strauss was employed as a physician by the Ohio State University (OSU) in the Athletics Department and in the Student Health Center.The events there appear to have been covered up by an orchestrated operation to deny and discredit the victims. But now, the survivors have had enough, and everyone still alive who allegedly perpetrated these heinous crimes who is still alive, from former staff to Senators and Billionaires, are in the crosshairs.Up until recently, it's been difficult to substantiate the claims, but in April 2025, ABC 6 ran the followingA hidden camera was discovered in a dorm room bathroom at Morrill Tower on the Ohio State University campus last week.ABC 6 has obtained the 911 calls regarding the incident. One caller, who works at the front desk, reported, "I have a group of guys whose suite, there was a hidden camera in their bathroom that none of them put in there."

    Not many members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are also recognized authorities on the western inner tradition. Gary Lachman is. In 1978, Blondie released the top-ten hit, “(I am Always Touched by Your) Presence, Dear.” Gary Lachman (then Gary Valentine) had written the song for his girlfriend after the series of shared dreams and telepathic experiences they had. Thus started his life-long obsession with the potentials of consciousness.

    In this memoir, Gary recounts how he went from being a successful rock and roller to a writer on consciousness and the western inner tradition. He shares encounters with rockers such as the Ramones, New York Dolls, Patti Smith, the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Iggy Pop and also Timothy Leary, William Burroughs, and Allen Ginsberg. Living with Blondie’s Debbie Harry and Chris Stein on New York’s Bowery, a block from the birthplace of punk rock, CBGB, Gary discovered occultism via a follower of Aleister Crowley. Post rock and roll, Gary’s occult studies brought him to the Golden Dawn, Manly P. Hall, Gnosticism, and a stint in Crowley’s O.T.O. He details his time in the Fourth Way, including a visit to the site of Gurdjieff’s Institute for the Harmonious Development of Man in France, and his years studying philosophy and literature and working as a Science Writer, while managing a famous metaphysical bookshop at the height of the New Age. Excursions to Stonehenge, Avebury, and Glastonbury in search of ley lines, and pilgrimages to Colin Wilson’s home in Cornwall, are a few of the highlights of this introspective, humorous account of a nascent writer’s struggle from rock and roll to individuation.Book

This is a terrific show. Opperman is clearly an experienced private investigator who is not only very knowledgeable on the topics he discusses but also interviews critical witnesses and possesses much insider information unavailable to the general public. The information he presents is insane and mindboggling, and Opperman always has the evidence to back it up! My only critique is that Opperman sometimes rambles a bit too much during his podcasts especially when he is not interviewing someone, and has the tendency to go off topic from the subject matter. I feel like the podcast could be improved tremendously if Opperman was a bit more concise and less "rambley" with how he presents his information.

Overall though, fantastic show! Highly recommend!

some very interesting and broad topics are covered. The host is unique. Opperman ranges from the classic, stereotype New York Jew from the 80's to a legit, hard-core private investigator. Most episodes are worth a listen if you can appreciate the interview style.
