Jackdaw desperately wanted to win and told his friend Magpie about his plan to compete for the position on the King’s flag. Magpie thought the whole thing was silly. Jackdaw sang and entertained the king all the time with Jester Jack, he didn’t need to be on any flag!    An adapted folktale written, performed & produced by Felicity Goodman of Story Stitchers.
