  • Episode 93: Changing Careers
    Aug 31 2026

In this episode, Dusty talks with Cory Holen from Preference Employment Solutions about changing careers and navigating career transitions.

Whether you've spent decades in the same career, are ready for something new, or find yourself facing an unexpected change because of a layoff or company closure, changing direction can be both challenging and rewarding.

Dusty and Cory discuss why people choose to change careers, what can lead someone to make a change, and how to approach a new career path. They also explore the idea that there's no one right way to build a career, sometimes the best path is staying the course, and sometimes it's taking a completely different direction.

Tune in for a conversation about career changes, finding your next step, and figuring out what you want to do when you grow up.

  • Episode 92: Junior Achievement
    Aug 17 2026

On this episode Dusty dives back into his own prior experience with Junior Achievement as he sits down to talk with Sara Dzuik, CEO of Junior Achievement North.

Sara and Dusty take a closer look at what Junior Achievement is all about and how the organization helps prepare young people for success both in the classroom and beyond. They discuss how Junior Achievement programs are tailored to different grades and age groups, giving students opportunities to learn about financial literacy, career exploration, entrepreneurship, and the skills they need to navigate the world.

They also talk about the lasting value of hands-on learning experiences and why programs like Junior Achievement can make such a difference in a student's future. Sara also shares how Junior Achievement continues to grow and evolve to make the most impact for students and communities.

Editors Note: This episode was recorded over Microsft Teams, and notification sounds can be heard in the background between 15:30-16:10. The conversation during that portion included important information related to the topic, so we chose not to edit it out. We hope the notifications aren't too distracting!
