This week we’re trading in our 50s Cold War panic for 80s Cold War panic as Warner Brothers calls us to tackle The Iron Giant 2. Brad Bird’s beloved children’s film is getting a long awaited followup and it’s up to the Podcast 2 to come up with a fulfilling storyline for past Hogarth-heads and new Hog-heads alike. Will Hogarth and the Iron Giant still share the same connection they had in the original? How’s Hogarth feel about Dean after he effectively became his dad? If the last film was “Superman” would this be our “Batman?” Could this be Sam & Max’s Star Wars…or even better their Bright. Is our boy B Bird a big ol’ Randian Rascal?
