What an incredible summer Randy Bachman has had!

The real excitement began on July first when he went to Japan and finally got his 1957 Gretsch 6120 guitar back…tune in for more of that story.

Gretsch guitars suddenly became popular when Chet Atkins endorsed them in the mid-fifties. Since then, they’ve been played by George Harrison, Pete Townsend, Brian Setzer, Neil Young, Angus Young, and of course me.

It’s the return of the prodigal Gretsch so be sure to tune in to The Tap!

I always learn something new on Randy's Vinyl Tap. The Gretsch story is great. You can hear the joy in his voice as he tells the story.
