  • The Exhibit Ep.7: Michigan Secretary of State & new Governor candidate Jocelyn Benson
    Feb 1 2025

We talked about why she chose to run, thoughts on President Trump’s executive orders, her career-long work fighting racial supremacy and voting rights from Alabama to DC, how she handles any resistance within her own race, to dealing with previous protests outside her home, to if Trump’s DEI initiatives will eventually target the NFL:

“I think that would be very misguided. When you look at both the military and sports…it’s very clear: you either win or you lose, and there are consequences either way. There’s not much middle ground. You have to put your best feet forward. You have to put your best players forward. You have to put your best soldiers forward. You have to put your best practices forward. There’s no real movement for politics….”

And of course she discusses her Detroit Lions, distance running everyday, her new book ‘The Purposeful Warrior.’ (May 6) and so much more.
