He served as President of the Excelsior Surgical Society from 2022-2023 and recently edited Edward D. Chruchill’s Surgeon to Soldiers 2024 Edition. With a focus on military health policy, he is now serving as a Veteran Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
