Some people talk as if there are two versions of following Jesus— 👉 those who just want to “be Christians” 👉 and those who take discipleship seriously.
But Jesus never made that distinction.
He simply said, “Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Me.” No fine print. No hidden clauses. No “optional upgrade.”
Following Jesus is discipleship. Discipleship is the Christian life. And life is found in losing ours for Him.
The teachings of Jesus are meant to reshape how we see faith, surrender, and the kingdom of God breaking into our lives today.
The choice is yours. Will we cling to our lives—or find real life in Him?
