Welcome back campers. Tonight we’re headed deep into the Pacific Northwest. These stories all come out of The Great PNW, and what connects them is not just Bigfoot, dogman reports, winged creatures, mimics, or things people cannot quite name. It is that shared feeling so many witnesses describe right before everything turns strange: the sense that something is already out there, watching from the tree line, the road, the barn, the smoke, or just beyond the firelight. What I love about this set of encounters is how grounded they feel. These are not people chasing the paranormal. They are working night shifts, checking livestock, hunting, camping, driving home, or trying to find their way back through the dark. Then something happens that pulls the whole landscape sideways. Familiar places stop feeling familiar, and the wilderness starts to feel occupied. If you’ve ever spent real time in the woods of Washington or Oregon, you know there are places out there that can feel beautiful and uneasy at the same time. This episode lives right in that space.Try Outlands Coffee: Buy Now Save $5 on your order with code CAMPFIRE at checkout!Become a Patreon Member: Become a Cult Member!Campfire Cult Merch: Shop NowPlease don't forget to rate and review wherever possible. Welcome back campers. Tonight, we’re heading into a place that doesn’t sit comfortably on a map.

Not because it’s hidden… but because it doesn’t behave the way places are supposed to.

In southeastern Massachusetts, there’s a stretch of land locals have warned each other about for generations. A region where the woods feel heavier, the nights feel longer, and the stories don’t stay neatly in one category.

It’s known as the Bridgewater Triangle.

Inside its borders, people have reported strange lights moving silently overhead. Massive shapes standing just beyond the treeline. Voices calling from the woods when no one should be there. And moments of missing time that no one can quite explain.

Some people come here looking for answers. Most don’t.

Most of the stories you’ll hear tonight happened to people who weren’t chasing anything at all—they were hiking, driving home, spending time outdoors…until something crossed their path and quietly rewrote how they understand the world.

So tonight, we’re sitting with that place. Its history. Its patterns. And the uneasy feeling that whatever’s happening there didn’t stop happening just because we gave it a name.

Get comfortable and keep the fire close.

    Mar 24 2026
Tonight’s episode lives in that uneasy space where a strange sighting turns into something more. Not just a creature in the dark. Not just lights in the trees. Not just a voice, or a figure, or a stretch of trail that suddenly feels wrong. These are stories about moments when people realize the world around them is no longer behaving the way it should. You’ll hear from hunters, hikers, campers, and witnesses who knew these places well. People used to being outdoors. Used to reading the woods, reading the weather, reading the mood of a place. And still, they found themselves facing things they couldn’t explain. Heavy footsteps circling just beyond the beam of a light. Orbs hanging silently in the trees. Fog that seems to pull at the mind. A figure that watches without moving. Something breathing just out of sight. Something answering back.A lot of these encounters share the same feeling. First comes the silence. Then the sense of being watched. Then the realization that time, distance, or even your own thoughts may not be entirely yours for a while. And that’s what makes these stories stick with you long after this episode ends. Not just what people saw, but what the experience did to them. The missing hours. The fear that hit before the witness understood why. The sense that whatever was out there had already noticed them first. So tonight, let’s head into the dark a little carefully. And we’ll start in the Missouri woods, where two coon hunters heard something circling them in the dark… and later realized the night had somehow lost two hours.Try Outlands Coffee: Buy Now Save $5 on your order with code CAMPFIRE at checkout!Become a Patreon Member: Become a Cult Member!Campfire Cult Merch: Shop NowPlease don't forget to rate and review wherever possible.
