i have never really read my bible in depth, just a few passages here and there. I started listening to Fr. Mike and I am totally hooked. He brings the bible alive and his commentary is spot on for todays lives! If there were more Catholic priests like Fr. Mike the churches would be overflowing on Sundays!!

Father Mike brings to life the entire Bible in a truly meaningful way. Read with enthusiasm, taken and manageable chunks of scripture, and placed in context, this is been the highlight of my year. Father Mike, brings the heart and compassion of the Gospels and our story, showing relevance in today's modern culture. Too often criticized, the Bible does stands the test of time. Multiple underlying themes are woven to demonstrate the heart of relentlessly loving God for His people. Before you take anyone's word for the Bible being inconsistent or narrow-minded, take 20 to 30 minutes daily to listen and and after a month or year, perhaps you'll come to a different perspective. I plan on listening again this next year. Rich with history, culture, and inspiration; I am surprised and how people continue to display the same traits and behaviors from ages of old. My frame my understanding has been expanded beyond my expectations. Father Mike inspires kindness, compassion, Grace, and conveys the heart of Jesus, and reinforces God as a forgiving, relentlessly pursuing, and generous God.

A fresh look at an old sacred book!
