Father Mike Schmitz starts by reading the passage first and then explaining it. This is important to know because I thought that you had to read the passage alone first so don't worry if you don't have the reading plan because he reads it to you. That being said they do have a reading plan you can download to follow along and read first if you want. The best part is when Father Mike explains the passage. I've listened to the first 3 and already have learned SO MUCH. Please also listen to the introductory episodes where he talks about helpful tips when you're reading (listening to) the Bible. If you've gone to college then you know that all the reading classes are based on critical theory and work. This is what gave me a hard time the first time I read the Bible through, since I read it at first with a critical mindset. Father Mike talks about how to read without this mindset in order to get the most out of the Bible. I look forward to this podcast throughout the year and it gives me such hope that this is the number one podcast in the US currently! After the year we've been through, we all need this podcast.

Altamente recomendable. Muchas gracias por este hermoso podcast!
