This episode begins a series study in the book of John. John, the disciple, wrote this book to convince people to believe in Jesus (20:30-31). From the beginning, John establishes that Jesus is eternal, is in fellowship with The Father, and is Himself God. John has focused on seven of Jesus' miracles to demonstrate Christ's divinity.
