As an Irish American or American Irish depending on what side of the “pond” your on. The Troubles, an the IRA, through St Patrick’s Day to sitting in pubs listening to Irish folk music the Troubles is here still. Engrained in Irish American culture or at least mine. The Royals, the British Monarchy, in my humble opinion are figure heads nothing more. There ancestors that actually HAD the power should be reckoned with. Not now. This is a different time. The British Government is not The Royals. Yes the Royals are British but symbolic power and actual governing power are two very different and seperate things. This was enjoyable and I started at the this episode and will listen to the most recent.
