  • Maximize Studio and Gallery Visits with Josh Kasper
    Mar 5 2024

In this episode of the Artist Business Plan we sit down with Josh Kasper to talk about maximizing artist studio visits. Learn about his interviewing process and having meaningful conversations with collectors when you tune into this lovely episode.

Guest: Josh is an art advocate and Connecticut native who worked in asset management at Goldman Sachs before escaping corporate America to pursue his passion with the arts. During 2020, he spent about ten months posting different pictures of artworks on Instagram taken at the galleries in Chelsea, New York and many art fairs around the country including Art Basel and Art Miami.

After a visit to Gallery23 in New York and a conversation with a local artist, the seeds of his initiative, Art Basel and Beyond, were planted. In his interviews with artists, studio visits, and gallery and fair tours, Josh dives into the stories behind his dynamic guests from up-and-coming artists to seasoned professionals.

Art Basel and Beyond aimed to both recreate the acclaimed art fair and enable people to build relationships with artists by understanding their mission and technique.

Since recording, Art Basel and Beyond has rebranded to Studio Kasa. Learn more at www.studiokasa.art.
