    Change is hard! Yet complacency I would dare say is harder.

    Complacency is defined as: marked by self-satisfaction especially when accompanied by unawareness of actual dangers or deficiencies.

    Too often we get into the rut of what works, or worse yet avoiding 'what won't work' that doesn't actually have much data to back it up.

    Opportunity comes when we're solution focussed rather than problem focussed. Opportunities are waiting all over the place, yet the safety of comfort zones prevent us from finding new opportunities. We have an option to go and explore looking for new possibilities, yet we love to stick to the comfort of what we've always done. The "if it ain't broke why fix it" theory that complacency loves to thrive in.

    Social media seems to be the thing most Travel Advisors despise.

    The need to find new content, engage with comments, and just simply have to show up. With several travel industry coaches now saying that it's time to abandon social media - the question is, is now the time to be on a break?

    The short answer - no.

    UNLESS - you're in a position where you're already 'known'.

    You've built such a presence that you're so incredibly well known that potential clients can find you without hesitation. So incredibly well known that you're turning business away. So well known that you simply can't take on any more business.

    The reality is - if you've come to this episode I'm willing to bet that's not where you're at right now. You're looking for ways to be seen and heard. Ways to connect with your ideal clients. It IS possible to do that offline, but you've got to be committed to putting in the effort that that requires as well. I promise you, showing up with some posts from your phone is a whole lot more time and cost-efficient over the idea of what it takes to build those relationships offline.

Full of USEFUL Information!!

I am absolutely hooked on this podcast. It covers topics that are not only relevant but also incredibly useful. The information shared is actionable and I wish I had started listening to Glenda sooner - I feel like I wasted 3 years spinning my wheels. I binged almost all episodes in just a week. Also, her Facebook group is fantastic.
