This landmark new UFO research takes Close Encounter, CE, phenomenon to new dimensions, not only is Pascagoula considered the best documented CE, but it now may be the only one reported in a nuclear and military involved area. And it was also involved in bringing about today’s disclosure. On October 11, 1973, shipyard employees, Calvin Parker and Charles Hickson went fishing in the Pascagoula River.

What happened next changed the world. They reported that humanoid entities abducted them in what became international news. But because of the general lack of documentation such abduction reports are often considered low-life, hoax material and unrecognized even by ufologists. They were harshly harassed. However as our investigation continued, this one differed. It had so many witnesses to the object and events that now it is considered the best documented of any CE. But important questions dogged its credibility: ‘Why them?’ and ‘Why there?’

This new information can provide answers. They worked for an installation that was closely associated with and near one that made nuclear submarines, some armed with nuclear missiles. The CE occurred in this area. This sheds a new light on the events; UAP are reportedly interested in nuclear sites and accounts of UAP near our most secured areas receive respect and critical examination. This could be comparable to the activity over missile silos. It also included strange abductions; the world’s largest UFO wave; an unidentified sound with many witnesses; prophecy and weird hypnosis results; a large US military reconnaissance; and mind control elements, such as people in trances behaving like machines.

Additional reports of an Unidentified Submerged Object (USO), underwater activity, and trans-medium travel were well investigated also. Even sightings near nuclear facilities are considered dangerous, let alone abduction. UAP mental effects near nuclear sites are just as dangerous as physical ones; hence, CE phenomenon should now be recognized. Moreover, Pascagoula was instrumental in bringing about the Tic Tac events and today’s disclosure. Thus Pascagoula is extraordinary but this is for a combination of solid reasons: the large number of credible witnesses, it is a nuclear and military sighting, there were mind-control effects, and it helped to bring about the most consequential UAP incident in modern history, the Tic Tac event. Dr. Irena Scott received her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in physiology, did post-doctoral research at Cornell University, and has had a professorship at St. Bonaventure University. Her MS was from the University of Nevada, her BS from Ohio State University in astronomy and biology, and she has done research and taught at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the University of Nevada. The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) employed her in Ph.D. level (GS-11) research in satellite photography, including its Air Order of Battle section.

Dr. Scott served on the MUFON Board of Directors (1993 to 2000) and is a MUFON consultant in physiology and astronomy as well as a field investigator. As the MUFON Director of Publications, she co-edited eight symposium proceedings. She was a volunteer astronomer at the Ohio State University Radio Observatory “Big Ear” (noted for the WOW SETI signal that might be humanity’s only signal from ETs).

These stories, from Ukraine in 1982 and Vandenberg Air Force Base in 1964, have stunned military insiders and UFO researchers for decades.

What happens when unidentified flying objects appear at the most secure nuclear sites on Earth? And what does it mean when those same objects seem to control or disable missiles with ease?

In Ukraine, 1982, Soviet missile officers witnessed something that defied all logic. A huge, glowing disc-shaped object appeared over a nuclear missile base near the city of Bershad. Within minutes, control panels in the underground bunker lit up, the launch sequence had begun. The codes were entered automatically, and the countdown started. No one had touched the controls. The officers could only watch in horror as their nuclear weapons prepared to fire. Then, as suddenly as it began, the system shut down. The glowing craft rose silently into the night sky and disappeared. Moscow’s official investigation listed the cause as “unknown interference.”

Eighteen years earlier, a similar event took place on the other side of the world. At Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, U.S. Air Force officers were tracking a test missile over the Pacific Ocean. During the flight, radar and cameras picked up a bright, disc-shaped UFO that approached the missile at incredible speed. The object circled the missile several times, fired flashes of light at it, and the warhead was instantly disabled. The missile dropped out of flight. The entire encounter was filmed, but the footage was confiscated and classified. The officers involved, including Lieutenant Robert Jacobs and Major Florenze Mansmann, later confirmed that what they saw was no illusion. They said it was intelligent, precise, and deliberate.

Both incidents reveal a pattern that can’t be ignored: UFOs and nuclear weapons seem to be connected. During the Cold War, similar reports came from bases across the United States and the Soviet Union, glowing discs hovering over missile silos, nuclear systems shutting down or activating on their own, and radar contacts showing unknown craft moving with impossible speed.

The nonfiction book, “It Never Happened” Volume 1, confirms and validates a colossal cover-up of the “UFO question” by the U.S. Air Force. It is authored by retired Air Force Captain David Schindele who was a former Minuteman ICBM launch control officer stationed at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. It was there in 1966 when he was involved in a very serious incident where a flying object managed to take down all ten of his nuclear-tipped missiles and render them unlaunchable! This very grave situation involved the strategic U.S. nuclear deterrent force, which was America’s first line of defense in the Cold War.

It resulted in the Air Force “instructing” Captain Schindele to never speak of the incident again and telling him that, “As far as you are concerned, It Never Happened.” Captain Schindele maintained his silence for nearly forty years until other former missileers began to speak out about their incredible unearthly incidents. It was then that he attempted to learn the long history of Air Force cover-up. He needed to find out why the Air Force publicly insisted that flying objects didn’t exist, that they posed no threat to national security, and that there was “nothing to investigate.” He also found he needed to confirm to the world the awesome Truth that “We are not alone in the Universe.”

The book reveals the enormous amount of attention given to Unearthly Flying Objects by the Air Force, which is documented in its own investigative efforts code-named Project Sign and Project Grudge. Those projects are examined in detail, which outlines a trail of convoluted and contorted investigative activity by the Air Force to determine modus operandi of the objects and their threat to national security. This investigative activity was impacted by crucial and essential efforts by high level officials to also protect Truth of the UFO question and the closely held Magnificent and Monumental Secret of Roswell and other recoveries. Released secret and top secret government documents bring all this into the open and into perspective, which then serves to confirm the reality and Truth of the “UFO question.”

Retired Air Force Captain David D. Schindele spent his active military career as an ICBM launch control officer with both the Atlas E and Minuteman One weapon systems, and then he remained in the Air Force reserve long enough to obtain his retirement papers and retain his officer commission. After active duty, he worked as an aerospace engineer in development of the Air Force Manned Orbiting Laboratory, and also Apollo astronaut backpacks used on the moon. He then settled into a thirty-two year career as a computer systems analyst working for two major companies, until retiring in 2002.

For nearly forty years, Captain Schindele kept his Air Force mandated secret of the un-earthly experience he had, which put ten of his Minuteman missiles out of commission. It was only after other missileers began to tell of their similar experiences that he recognized that Truth of the “UFO question” must be released to all of humankind. He currently resides in Washington State with his wife Diana, in a marriage of twenty-one years, and they have a combined family of four adult children and eight grandchildren.
