  • What Palash Kulkarni Thinks About Content, Capital, and Culture | Ep. 61
    Apr 16 2025

It's not often that you'll meet someone who cares about the business of creativity, and the creativity of business too. Both of us went independent at roughly the same time. Since then, Palash has worked on a bunch of interesting projects, something that we touch briefly upon. This conversation features our thoughts on the past, future, and present of content, how 'new media' and 'traditional media' will have to learn to coexists, the current predicament of the move business and of course, a spicy rapid fire at the end. If you're even remotely interested in media, content, stick around. • What the hell is Content & Coffee?
    Nov 19 2024

How do you make a community for creators?

I don't know the answer to that question because that's not how things began. C&C started out as a 'workshop' for podcast enthusiasts. Since then, it has become a community that houses some of the country's best creative talent; featuring marketers, creative strategists, and creators. We have offline 'episodes', where our members discuss, debate, and workshop new (and old) ideas. As you might have guessed, there's the coffee that keeps us going. ;) My goal is for chapters or 'seasons' of C&C to charter across the world's most creative cities. Watch the video to found out how! • Mayur Sontakke Takes A Hike
    Jun 9 2024

    We’re all migrants through time.

The story of NomadGao, a brainchild of Mayur Sontakke, is nothing short of a travel revolution.

Is it a hostel? Is it a hotel? Is it a BnB?

Turns out, it’s none of those.

“I used to get offended when people called us a hostel. Now, I don’t really care.” he says.

We discuss why digital nomadism is off to a sluggish start to India, how the government is trying to attract tourism by encouraging longer stays, and where we go as a 'community-first' society from here.

It’s a must-listen if you wanna get the f out your city sometimes.

  • What Gaurav Jain saw
    Jul 25 2023

You’ve heard of the popular maxim ‘show, don’t tell’. But when it comes to Gaurav Jain, who's worked with companies like Star and Hotstar, I’d say ‘show then tell' seems like a better fit. You’ll see what I mean when you listen to the episode in full. This conversation takes us to midnights at the Hotstar office in Mumbai where G and his team were strategising and creating groundbreaking content, a sunny Central Park afternoon in New York with his daughter and wife, but most importantly, to his mind; the movies he’s watched, the books that he’s devoured, and the memes that he just. can’t. stop. sharing. It’s a supremely chill conversation, that tastes best, with some 'pink gin' and tonic. There are some great insights + anecdotes along the way too, especially if you’re interested in the content business.
