After an unintended break, Diggy is back with a run of stories that escalate quickly. There’s a school-day stomach ache that turns into three days off thanks to a baffling sickness policy, a brutal bout of COVID, and a delivered breakfast sandwich that contains all the right ingredients in entirely the wrong order.

Then it’s Christmas Day. A late start, chaotic family logistics, relentless cups of tea, dropped roast potatoes, burnt Yorkshire puddings, and a Christmas dinner that finally happens far later than intended and is deeply unsatisfying.

After all that, Diggy makes a big announcement: episode 100 will be the final episode of That’s a Free Bee.

The show was always an experiment, and it worked, but rigid schedules didn’t. So rather than force it, the podcast is ending cleanly and making way for something more flexible.

That new show is Hey It’s Diggy. Short, ad-hoc episodes released whenever there’s something worth saying. No fixed length. No fixed schedule. The first episode is already live.

Plus subscribers haven’t been forgotten. Payments were paused, subscriptions will be cancelled properly, and all previous Plus content will be unlocked and made free.

There’s one final episode of That’s a Free Bee next week, featuring the joke that inspired the name of the podcast.
