In our life we face many, many challenges. We have the skills, abilities, and knowledge to face these challenges, but sometimes the challenge overwhelms us and demands more than we can offer. How do we continue to face the challenge? One of the most powerful mechanisms we have to help with pressing on is the hope that an answer will come or a solution will present itself. Having hope is critical. Having hope properly based is a must for a good outcome. When our faith and hope are placed in Jesus Christ and our Father Creator, we can rest assured that all things will turn out for the best.

In chapter 6 of the Book of Romans, the Apostle Paul addresses some erroneous thoughts about justification and the Law. He gives good reasoning why the ideas are wrong and encourages his reader to choose the victory in Christ that all Christians have available to them, but they must choose life in following Christ for their souls, not death by following the world's ways.

From Romans 5:12-21 - In this passage, the Apostle Paul explains how Adam's act of disobedience led to sin being imputed to all mankind. The comparison also draws on the idea that Jesus' act of redemption justifies all mankind's sins.

Besides receiving the joy of justification we gain from Christ's redemption, we receive seven other blessings.

Abraham is known as the Father of Faith because of his great faith in God. In this message, we look at how Abraham demonstrated his faith and what we can learn from his example. Based on the fourth chapter of the Book of Romans.

In chapters one and two of Romans, Paul has laid out the guilt of the Gentiles and the Jews, respectively. Now he levels the charge against all people. He shares that all are equally guilty of sinning against God and that the solution is the same for every person. We must accept the work of Jesus on our behalf by faith. It is faith in Christ that makes us right with God, something our works, whether under the law or apart from the law, cannot do.

We continue our sermon series in the Book of Romans. Today's message comes from Romans 2-3:8. In chapter one, Paul addressed the sin and guilt of the Gentiles. Now he turns his attention to the Jews in Rome. Paul reminds the Jews that though they were a special people blessed and set apart by God, they were still guilty of sin and, in that regard, they were no better than the Gentiles, and in some ways, they were more guilty. Join us as we break down Paul's words to the Jews living in Rome.

Based on Romans 1:18-32 this message looks at four ways that people turn their backs on God and step away from following Him. These are, Intelligence, Ignorance, Indulgence, and Impenitence.
