    The trial for Karen Read, the Massachusetts woman who is accused in the 2022 death of her Boston police officer boyfriend, is underway with Day 2 of testimony.

    Read, 43, of Mansfield, is charged with running down John O’Keefe, her Boston police officer boyfriend, and leaving him to die in a blizzard in the town of Canton on Jan. 29, 2022.

    She has pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder, motor vehicle manslaughter, and leaving the scene of a collision in connection with O’Keefe’s death.

    The FBI has laid out a detailed case showing why agents believe a Florida man is behind his estranged wife’s disappearance from her apartment in Spain but gave no indication about what they think happened to her.

    Court documents released late Monday show that agents believe David Knezevich resembles the man wearing a motorcycle helmet who spray painted the security camera lens outside Ana Knezevich’s Madrid apartment on Feb. 2. The man left an hour later carrying a suitcase.

Excellent Broadcast Journalism - a new way of news

News comes in from so many angles these days, so going in depth on one topic of interest to me is ideal. I love how Joel and Surviving The Survivor bring in true professionals and relevant guests for unscripted perspective and unbiased opinions. Deep background and process perspectives are touched on throughout each episode, and the chemistry between host and guests is always amazing. Thank you for your work, STS!

I listen to your podcast daily and appreciate it. It is so great to hear a podcast without all the background drama music drowning out the content. Karm is wonderful and I am an LCSW also and so I am always interested in her views. I especially like Carl. Keep up the good work Joel, I have been following the Markel case for many years and now reading Ruth's book. I hope she will write another. I was enjoying content but no control repeatedly took me back to 0 seconds when I tried to rewind to catch a missed comment
