Stacey Dales, Jed Hoyer interviews (Hour 3)

In the third hour, Mike Mulligan and David Haugh welcomed on NFL Network reporter Stacey Dales, who has been making the rounds at NFC North training camps -- including the Bears on Wednesday. Dales also reacted to Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson's six-game suspension. Later, Cubs president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer joined the show to explain the club's thought process in choosing not to move All-Star catcher Willson Contreras at the trade deadline. Hoyer also discussed why the "time wasn't right" for the Cubs to seriously pursue superstar outfielder Juan Soto, who was traded from the Nationals to the Padres in a blockbuster deal.
