Podcast series about the secret undercover political police who infiltrated over 1,000 campaign groups in the UK. Stealing dead children's identities, deceiving women into long term sexual relationships, in some cases fathering children. Tasked with undermining democratic participation in politics, these "spycops" were publicly unmasked by activists in 2010. This led to a police apology, significant disclosure and now a Public Inquiry into Undercover Policing since 1968. Presented by some of the activists affected, joined by large rotating cast, this weekly series covers all aspects of the issue. With profiles of officers, reports from legal hearings, discussions with researchers, lawyers and other activists. All rights reserved Biografías y Memorias Crímenes Reales

  • Episode 47: Reclaim The Streets statement
    Feb 9 2026
Some people who used to be involved in Reclaim The Streets (RTS) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reclaim_the_Streets, some of whom had not seen each other since two decades, discuss their input into the Undercover Policing Inquiry ahead of the questioning of the undercover officer Jim Boyling. https://campaignopposingpolicesurveillance.com/tag/jim-boyling/ Reclaim the streets merged party and protest in the 90s, transforming car filled urban spaces into joyful creative visions of a world beyond capitalism and free from one of its driving toxic forces, the motorcar. RTS was heavily infiltrated and it now turns out the spycops were co-organising and manipulating these mass actions so that public disorder would occur and the press would demonise the group, who by 2000 had become public enemy number one in the tabloids. They discuss some of the shocking things that have emerged and key questions they want asked.
