  • Who's on the Throne of Your Heart?
    Apr 18 2026

Who’s on the throne your heart; is it Jesus or is it you? So often we can read God’s word and think to ourselves, I just don’t understand. We can even try praying and talking to God, and come away saying to ourselves “I can’t hear You God, why won’t You speak to me?” More often than not, it’s not that God isn’t speaking. Too, it is not that God doesn’t want us to understand His Word; for that is His wisdom and instruction for our lives. It’s us. We will discover that when we are not receptive, open and obedient to His word, we will lack understanding. We cannot grasp knowledge and understanding because we shut our heart off to His word entering in by not adhering to God’s instruction book, the Bible, His living Word.

On the other hand, if we are willing to be open and obedient to His word, we will find knowledge, understanding and God’s wisdom for our lives. We’ll also discover we can hear Him more clearly because He was talking all the time through His word, and WE finally let Him in. This is the understanding heart in Matthew 13:23.

Our scripture references are found in Matthew 13:3-8, 18 and 23; Proverbs 1:7; Psalm 81:10-12, 119:99-100, 130; Deuteronomy 4:5-7; Judges 17:6 and 21:25. Listen, for life!

  • Hear ye, Hear ye (Long version)
    Apr 10 2026

In these last days, the Bible tells us that men’s hearts fail them for fear of what’s coming upon the earth. Therefore, it is going to be vital that we know the voice of the Lord for ourselves. It has always been God’s desire to have communication and fellowship with mankind, from the beginning. Unfortunately,an alarming number of born-again Believers don’t know the voice of the Lord for themselves. One of the reasons is because of the religious order where man has taken the place that is ONLY reserved for God. Secondly, disobedience can dull our hearing whereas our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit is diminished. But we can hear the voice of the Lord and become sensitive again, through repentance and obedience to the Word of God.

Our scripture references are found in Luke 21:26; John 14:16-18, 20-23, 26; Jeremiah 33:3 and Isaiah 65:24. Listen, for life!

Throughout the Bible we always see repentance precedes revival. However, this season according to Ecclesiastes 3:1, God is initiating revival prior to repentance, as we walk through the door of revival. He’s also gracing us with power to engage in the process of renewal and restoration we lacked in times past.
