Scott Furrow combines a quick wit, theological knowledge and wisdom, a strong grasp of the news, and empathy for issues facing our listeners. Scott's passion and calling has been encouraging people to grow in their faith and to be more Kingdom-minded in everyday life.

Born and raised in Southern California, Scott graduated from UC Riverside, earning a bachelor’s degree in history/law and society. Scott’s career has included roles in politics, government, media relations, as well as the corporate marketplace. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Bethel Theological Seminary in San Diego as was a pastor for 25 years. For two hours each weekday, Scott brings hope and encourages K-PRAISE listeners to be salt and light in today’s rapidly changing culture.

    Scott looks at Levi’s testing AI-generated clothing models later this year to diversify the company’s online shopping experience. This was revealed last week alongside Levi’s partnership with Lalaland.ai, a digital fashion studio that creates realistic AI-generated fashion models. With more uses for AI coming out Scott asks listeners if this is too far and how should AI programs like this be looked at by Christians.

    Then, Scott looks at the rise in depression and other mental health issues in kids today. With social media and kids having access to so much more today than ever before Scott asks listeners what is contributing to the rise in mental health issues.
