Always loved history and was referred to Dan by a colleague and I instantly dove in during my daily 6 mile walks, and instantly drawn in to the detail including historical background to set the table. On part IV of V currently.

Dan Carlin and the and the Japanese really bring it to the table with this series. Dan and the Japanese are just balls of energy that can’t be contained and it shows. A 4 hour length part 1 and it’s not even boring for a second due to dans unbeatable narration and the Japanese giving us absurd and/or awful story after story. You have to hear this to believe how good the storyteller is and how disgusting japans past is. Highly recommend!

So smart, so thorough. Hope this gains more recognition. It has No agenda, no ulterior motive. Just facts, but way more entertaining than a illegal lecture.

Better than Netflix

Its an amazing narrative and intense account. I literally binge listem to It. I find it very well sourced in terms of different perspectives. And as intense as an action triller could be.
