    As a rule, the shit talking is kept between the three jokers doing the reviews and is not directed at the artists who are reviewed. Is this a podcast for the kiddos? Eh, there's some foul language and shots are routinely fired between the hosts, so perhaps not. (On the other hand, the kids these days are probably exposed to worse than these three buffoons, so you be the judge...)

    Charismatic Leaders is the third release from Finland’s progmetal gurus Wheel. As the resident Shit Talk prog guy, John wanted to bring it to the table. The album is great and is covered with just enough frosting for Derek (the resident thrash guy) to dig it too; the consensus is that if you dig the metal but are new to the progressive side of things, you might dig this as well.

    John and Derek sat down this time around to do the Devil’s Work. (Or rather, to chat about Kerry King’s new album From Hell I Rise.) It’s all Kerry King, but with enough touches of the Slayer to keep the diehard fans into it. It’s got so much power that Derek wants to run back to the woods in Vermont and start throwing beer kegs around if that’s any indication… It’s a strong record and definitely worth checking out.
