Family,
When we think of the great military powers and minds that've existed throughout history, we typically think of the Romans, Napoleon Bonaparte, Alexander the Great, The Wehrmacht, General Patton (who had to give respect to his black tank battalion dubbed The Black Panthers), and the the Navy Seals.
Those individuals and groups I just named were able to achieve their military dominance because they weren't under an oppressive regime when they went on their campaigns, and, in most cases, they had the upper hand against those who they wanted to conquer.
However, how much more noble, brave, and honorable is it for a group of people to stand up against a regime that vastly outnumbers and outguns them, only for that oppressive group to be punished into submission?
In this edition of the Poethnic Justice Podcast, we discuss that time in history where black people put the smackdown on white supremacists, so hard that they were forced to get some major act right.
One Love & One Justice,
The Stormy Poet
