Season 5, Episode 43: Interview with Leah Finity (Izzy) from “Infrared” (2022)

This being a found-footage film, I find it as a great addition to the sub-genre with strong performances and a well-built engagement with the audience as it explores the character dynamics and tension beyond typical horror tropes.

It was great talking to Leah about her role in this film, getting to know more about her character and the on-screen chemistry with the other actors. We dove into the twists and turns, the concept of the opening scene, the augmentation of the discomforting sounds of distortion which in any case make the movie much scarier.

This movie has a lot to offer; the commitment to the atmosphere alone will impress you and have you sticking around for the climax. The movie is available for streaming on several platforms, including Tubi, Fandango at Home, and The Roku Channel.
