Sarah Lavin focuses on technical tweaks for Tokyo

Sarah Lavin wants nothing more than to make the World Championship final in Tokyo.

Ireland's fastest women over the 100m hurdles knows she will probably have to produce a new national record to achieve that, but she’s leaning into the challenge, making biomechanical changes to improve her acceleration and shave off precious milliseconds.

The Limerick woman has been chatting to Louise Phelan D'Cruz for Dublin Sport Today.

Sarah was speaking at an event to announce SPAR and EUROSPAR as Official Retail Partners to the Olympic Federation of Ireland. The partnership will see the leading retail group support Team Ireland as they build towards and compete at the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
