Same Care, Different Systems

Something many carers quietly navigate everyday, often without language for it, and it’s rarely discussed, no training offered, no true understanding, just expected to know.

The reality that every child is different and with those differences come different systems, different thresholds, and different expectations, even within the same authority, but also across multiple authorities, agencies, 3rd parties and anyone else who may have a part to play in the child’s life.

But we stay consistent in our care, even when everything around the child is fragile.
