Salvation

Salvation is an interesting matter because it comes embedded with an assumption that there is some sort of ruin or harm on the way the requires saving from. There is some impending doom, and without intervention, the results will be catastrophic.

It makes me think of the vast majority of super hero movies. The world as we know it is going to end unless fill in the blank can, against all odds, save us!

I want to go deeper for a few minutes into why this story is so common, to look at what may be the underlying truth to this plot by exploring some characters who have had a lasting impact on my life and how I see the world.
