STAND UP AND CLOWN (3/30) is one-week from the day this podcast drops! It’s another wild trios show – with a lot of comics doing clown for the very first time. The Clown Boss takes a look at Connor Storrie’s hosting experience on SNL – and focuses on the final sketch of the night, which was based on one of his clown pieces.

This opens up a greater conversation about an approach Chad uses and teaches – which he calls The Clown in Crisis. A lot of clown pieces focus on joy and light fun. But you can also explore themes like tragedy and suffering. What is the value of subverting an audience's expectations? And how does it help you tell a richer, more surprising story on stage?
