👉The Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation founded Wild Space Gallery to promote awareness of Florida conservation issues by curating thought-provoking exhibitions that engage, challenge and inspire collaborative ideas that protect Florida's wild places.
👉Through January 10, 2026, there are two concurrent exhibits that surround you with gorgeous Florida wildlife photos and paintings of our beautiful sunsets and landscapes.
- You Are Here is a travelling show created by the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation. The exhibit takes viewers on a journey across the 18-million-acre connected landscape, from the Everglades to the Alabama/Georgia state lines, through photography, maps, and informational panels.
- Enduring Light showcases artist Jeff Ripple and is curated by Noel Smith. The exhibit presents Florida landscape paintings inspired by the Hudson River Valley School. Ripple is a Florida artist whose studio-based works are derived from on-site air-plein studies, sketches, and photographs. His paintings focus on panoramas of sky, light, and water, and achieve a kind of poetic realism that invites contemplation of our country's historical relationship to its natural environment.
- Wild Space Gallery is located at 2606 Fairfield Avenue S. Bld #7 and is open to the public Wednesday-Saturday from 2-6 pm. Hours are extended until 9 pm for Second Saturday ArtWalk. 813-362-5279 Follow them on social here.
- COMING UP Wild Space Gallery presents-Fine Feathers: Etchings by John Costin, 1/24/2025-3/21/2026 presents twenty-two copperplate etchings of native Florida birds, each one a masterful, painstaking study drawn directly from nature. These life-sized avians are brought to startling life through expressive mark-making and vivid hand-coloring. Their individual characteristics emerge against stylized landscapes and habitats. Please Join Wild Space Gallery on 1/24/2026, 5–8 PM for the Opening Reception for Fine Feathers: Etchings by John Costin, featuring an artist presentation and gallery walkthrough with Costin and Curator Noel Smith from 6–7PM. Followed by Q&A and refreshments.
