In this episode, we follow Esther as she’s brought into the king’s palace and placed under the care of Hegai. Her quiet obedience to Mordecai and humble posture begin to set her apart, even before she meets the king. Though she’s in a foreign place, her faithfulness speaks loudly. This passage reminds us that obedience—especially in seasons of uncertainty—is a posture God can use for something greater.
